"Well, he did get around." Baba shrugged, then smiled. She even gave him a slight blush for the fumbling compliment, glancing down at herself to see if she was indeed standard proportions. "You think I'm within the standard? Always felt a little small, short, but I suppose I carry it well." Her chin lifted; another smile given just for him.
"It's okay, and yes, I bet there's some place here that would cobble your shoes, special ones. A good cobbler would probably kiss those feet of yours for the challenge. Kiss and curse them, and beam with pride when they fit just right. You should look for a cobbler." She could have forced him into hiding, but he'd never meet the Beauty without more intervention. No, she was going to have to take a different route of seeing what happens when Beauty and Beast meet.
"Oh, no, she's definitely not from the City. She is very nice. She knows all about books, quite intelligent. She's new to these...times, but she'll catch on I'm sure." Baba looked down the street as well, her head tilting at the chuckle.
"Mm. Well, you should head home. Perhaps we'll bump into each other sometime. That'd be nice."
