Baba nodded slightly at what he said, smiling a little. She sat down beside him, her hand resting on his shoulder for a moment, just a little pat. Her hands were soon settled in her lap. She wasn't sure where this conversation would be going exactly, but it was going to be interesting. There was a moment she considered telling Eric about this one, perhaps later, when she understood what he was exactly. Who he was.
"I suppose I've always been gifted." The crone couldn't think of a time she hadn't had powers of some sort. She came into being as Baba Yaga; her abilities might have changed with her place in story history, the cultural changes perhaps. The Adversary did a little adjusting, or felt like he had. She'd changed overtime, found new ways to use her abilities.
"You? Born this way?" She didn't look at his feet, simply looked at him. "I assume you are highly intelligent, but you are more than that, yes? Not that that's a bad thing - being highly intelligent. But, where I come from, intelligence coupled with physical prowess...now that's a package. Some might even say heroics demand such." She watched him closely for his reactions.
