Baba didn't smile, at least not on the outside. Instead, she tried to step back, as if she were afraid he'd move closer and hurt her even more. Her eyes were large as she looked up at him. A very little over five feet tall she was certainly looking up at him. She let herself seem small and almost helpless.
"Oh, you very much did. You stepped on me. I didn't do anything to you, and you stepped on me. If you're so big, you should be very careful. You could hurt someone with how big you are. And those feet. You have very big feet." She took a few steps back from him as if to get a better look.
"And you're just standing there eating your...what are those? Filled with sugar and such? You're only going to make yourself bigger and bigger. Then the world better watch out." Yes, she was certainly being mean, pushing. It was always a risk, being so obviously rude to a stranger. She never knew how it might come back to her.
