Fred's head tilted slightly at the extra digit. She didn't stare, but she didn't hide the curiosity. It wasn't often she met someone with such a trait. Well, not someone human. Demons were just a little different, weren't they? She wouldn't call Hannibal Lecter a demon even if some people thought he was pure evil. She was also listening.
"So, the zombie outbreak was more an accident, which could have been avoided had you and your partner, I'm guessing that Dr. Tam was your partner, been more strict on your security protocols." Fred's eyes had hovered around Hannibal's hands then his shoulders, finally when she spoke they met the odd red eyes. Again, if she didn't know better, she'd say he was a demon, but as far as she knew, he was human. Plus, being demon didn't automatically mean said being was evil.
"I know I don't know all the particulars, there might have been some strange occurrence that day, or the nurse usually worked with you and she got called away. But, it does seem odd that two doctors working with diseases and a magical monkey - did you even have wards around the monkey? - would have more safety measures in play. Is there a CDC here? Or even a compliance board?" Fred sat up straight; it wasn't the zombie outbreak that seemed to be her issue, but the lack in security and safety.
"I'm glad there was a cure. How did you know there was an effective cure? Were you able to cure the monkey? Or had you used other test subjects?" Yes, someone was certainly not following proper experimental protocols.
