Lorne smiled. "It so happens you're lookin' at him." He looked the kid over. Being empathic meant a few things, in terms of feeling people out when they weren't singing. Mostly it meant that the very obviously upset and the very confused tended to all but wear the words 'very upset' and 'very confused' stamped on their forehead.
Then again, people who had it all together and going well rarely sat in karaoke clubs and drank alone.
Lorne took a sip of his newly-refreshed Sea Breeze. "What can I do you for? Y'know, Greg back there," he gestured to the swinging doors behind the bar that lead to the kitchen "can whip up wings that are out of this world."
