Lestat nodded once. It was an acknowledgement of Eric's having a point. Other vampires would mock him for it, those that knew him. And they'd wonder why he never acknowledged their points.
He smiled. He liked that, to Eric, things were so cut-and-dry.
"Talent." He shrugged. The gesture didn't sit right on his body. "I tend to alienate just about every being I meet. So... mostly I have not done that. Semantics."
Lestat waved a hand, dismissing it. "I'd very much like being your ally. I think you're interesting. And that has precious little to do with your ability to rip me most of the way in half." He sighed. He could heal something like that.
Most of all, he hated being alone. This would alleviate that. He may be able to leave River and Hannibal alone--at least for now, until they were older and closer to real death. This was why he'd made Karen. This was why he so missed Mona.
And Marius.
This could be very bad. But that had never stopped Lestat before. "This will be very interesting."
