Fred didn't really know how long she'd been out there, and she was about to go back in when Dinah walked out. Fred remembered Dinah leaving the dance floor, but the brainy woman hadn't been paying attention to the time. Actually, Fred didn't think she'd have to worry about time that night.
She tried to hide, but it didn't work. There really weren't that many places to hide. She turned quickly to look at Dinah, giving her a smile. It might have been an awkward smile, but it was a smile all the same.
"Hi. I...magic?" It was sort of the truth. "Are you having fun? This is really an amazing party, isn't it? You look so very pretty."
