Logan stepped into the ballroom, dressed in the tuxedo that he'd found in his closet, along with the tickets to the ball. He'd hoped to get a hold of Veronica so they could come together, but it hadn't quite worked out that way.
So instead, he left her a message and hoped she would meet him there.
On the way in, he received a mask, along with a curious box. Logan shrugged at both party gifts.
"When in Rome," he muttered and put the mask on his face.
Suddenly, he forgot that his bank account was currently at $-5.28. He glanced around the room, feeling a bit of that smug confidence that he hadn't quite regained since he'd found himself here. It reminded him of how things had been back in Neptune. Not perfect by any means, but there was that lack of concern for all things financial, that feeling that maybe he just deserved better treatment than the others here.
"I think it just might be," he agreed with a nod to the pretty girl who had entered right in front of him and seemed to be talking to no one in particular.
