Fred watched Arthur for a moment; she was thinking really. She didn't say anything right off but followed along to look at the next case. As far as she was concerned, it was an interesting conversation, and she did want to continue it.
"Without possibility and potential there can be no reality. Which, does go with your choice becoming reality, but for every choice you make there is a reality in which you made that choice. In one you took the right path, in the other you took the left. Or more importantly, your choices allow you to see and experience one particular reality out of the many realities that already exist. Your choices choose the reality you're in, not all the others." Fred peeked into the case. "Wonder why anyone would want a toilet seat in a museum."
"Death is a break in one reality, and could lead to another. Or it could be the end of your experiencing realities. No more, nothing. Done with. Which is sort of sad, but it is the way it is. Either you keep going, or you don't." She leaned over to see the placard for the toilet seat.
"You can push beyond reality. That's what's there for, to be pushed against and beyond. We do not know who we are until we first define ourselves by the reality around us, then what's beyond it." Fred shrugged as she stood up straight and looked at him. "The City really knows how to make people question reality."
