Fred watched him, and there was the giggle again. She shouldn't have giggled; it was a little rude, but he really was into this one reality. She took a lean against the case, just slightly.
"Actually, multiple realities, depending on what choices we make are created. Even multiple realities of the City, but that's something else entirely. There is never just one reality because there are always possibilities. One reality would suggest that there is only one choice. Never changing. Although we, you and I, can only experience on reality, our perceptions only permit the one, unless you've got some sort of ESP thing going, then you'd possibly experience more than one or the hint of more than one. I'm still a little iffy on that. And the fact that there is time travel, that suggests more than one reality, if you think that each moment in time is a doorway to a different reality. Or not. It doesn't really matter. You can think that there is only one, just one, but there're more. I've been to three dimensions. And I think there's one other one filled with shrimp." She looked at him, feeling as if he might be testing her, but she had no idea what he might be testing her for.
"You should always question your reality. Not much would happen technologically if you didn't question the real." She shrugged and looked down at Dean's amulet. Did he know it was here?
