Zoe was glad he didn't say anything, no comments, just skipped right to the taking care of business. He was softer than she liked, but then, Wash hadn't been the hardest man either. Then again, the men in her life, or her life before the City, were very caring men, even Jayne in his own way. Jesse would have fit right in up in the Black.
She nodded and sat up carefully at first, but once she realized it was only the hint of soreness, the after healing, she moved a little quicker, smoother, less hesitant. Her feet on the floor, she paused and looked at him. She leaned over and kissed him softly, just near his lips. Her voice was soft, but she said it: "Thank you."
With that she got up, let him show her the way to the bathroom, and got cleaned up. Just as he said, the clothes were waiting for her. Pajamas that were snug in certain places and loose in others. Thankfully, they weren't overly see-thru. She walked back into the living room and gave him an almost hesitant smile. It was strange, feeling awkward around a man again. It wasn't something she was often. She settled on the couch, tucking her feet under her.
"So, how long's it been since you've had a woman in here?" She couldn't go straight to the holding. Not yet.
