Fred smiled at the new date. He seemed normal. Normal was actually nice compared to her first two dates. Then again, she'd met a few "normal" types who turned out to be much more than that. He also seemed...familiar. Had she met him before? Probably not.
"Patience of a saint? Nah, I don't think I'd want to be burned or shot full of arrows or flayed or eaten by ants - probably isn't a saint who got eaten by ants, but I think that sort of torture could be awful and maybe get someone into sainthood." She bit her lip to keep from adding to that, such as worse ways to torture someone, or how ants are rather quick and efficient if there were enough of them.
"What? Me? Why do you think...?" She blinked as one of the women slapped one of the men. Thankfully he was far far away, and Fred hadn't met him yet. She also noticed what the woman was wearing. Her attention shifted to a few of the other women before she looked down at her own clothes.
"No, I'm not. I was working on my Ph.D., but I'm not a doctor, or a psychologist." Her accent might have gotten a little thicker as she became a little more self-conscious, seeing as she was quickly realizing how very much she wasn't prepared for this. "I'm...well, I'm not really sure what I am right now. How bout you? Are you a doctor or psychologist?"
