Bella moved with more caution than most people on the sidewalk; her eyes firmly fixated on the ground below her, though occasionally glancing up once or twice, just to make sure that she wasn't about to have some kind of head on collision. She'd already knocked herself once already, and was sporting a pale blue bruise just above her elbow. Clutched tightly in her hands was a well-loved, worn copy of an old favourite, Sense and Sensibility, as she was about to indulge in one of her favourite pastimes.
The cafe was conveniently located on the way home from her usual haunt in the library, and the coffee was always made the way she liked it. It was quiet, and usually no one really bothered her, so she could sit back and watch the world go by. And today was no different - she seated herself outside where it was almost empty, apart from the man wearing what seemed to be a brilliant red flower. Bella admired it for a fleeting moment, before letting her brown hair form a curtain around her face, whipping slightly in the breeze.
Her coffee arrived momentarily, and the pale brunette sipped thoughtfully as she thumbed the pages of her worn book, her face frowning ever so slightly in thought.
