Dean hadn't actually expected to get a reply. He stood quickly then stopped. His eyes narrowed as he looked at the trench coated sight for sore eyes. Oh, Dean hoped that this was the real Cas, the angel who'd been there when the chips were down, until recently. But, he also knew that Gabriel was around, and he wouldn't put it past the Trickster to screw with him.
"Cas? Cas is that you?" Dean winced at the question, and even more so at the excited need in his voice. He hadn't realized how much he did need to see someone he knew, someone who was on his side. Cas had always been on his side, for the most part.
"Shit, how do you test an angel? Look, what car did you and angel thug land on? It was Sam's, but what...why the hell am I asking you? You don't know about cars." Dean coughed, shaking his head and waving at the smoke that still floated around the room. "We can continue this outside, whether you're Castiel or not." He started toward the door.
