Jennifer was looking at the bodies while Charlie and the tech talked. She was looking at what he was saying about them not matching. He was right. They didn't. Usually a killer did the same thing, or near it, to both bodies.
Odd.
"No bites anywhere but the heart." The tech told her partner. "And we won't be able to get a dental impression from it because it's too soft. There are also no hairs, no fibers, and worse, no fingerprints. It doesn't even look like anything was wiped. Just that they weren't there to begin with. We've seen some evidence of latex gloves, some hand impressions that indicate something covering the palm. A palm print can be just as good as a fingerprint in identifying somebody. This palm print has nothing. No lines. Just smooth."
Jennifer frowned. Nothing about this case was normal. Not one part of it.
"Is there anything you can tell us about them? Or do we have to wait for it all to go back to the lab?" She was irritated, but tried to not show it in her voice.
