"This is what makes you different, and this is what makes you worth my time outside a bauble or a toy." Baba saw no reason to lie to him, or play with him. Any teasing would be to pique his curiosity, but now she did not need to tease in such a fashion. She simply needed to give him information.
Her hand slid into the crook of his arm, even those his hands were held behind him. It wouldn't upset his posture; it would simply allow her to walk closely to him. Others would see a very close couple. It was the physical contact again. The connection that she wanted once more.
"Not as well as you would like, I'm afraid. I know that they dealt with the medications of the more...difficult inmates." They had not been patients there; no, they had been prisoners. Kept away from the regular population to keep everyone safe. It was cruel punishment for those who were simply acting on their own natures.
"No doubt he dosed us, and she aided in the administration." Her fingers dug a little in his arm, just a hint of anger. "They held no qualms about it. The City allowed its children free reign in what happened to us. What they did was what they wanted to do." The City had not told them to mistreat the patients; they had done as they wished because the City had not told them to treat the patients kindly. They had taken it upon themselves to hurt others because the City had not told them to do otherwise.
"Have you developed a plan or are you working it out as you go?" There was no accusation or disgust. She knew that he wanted them, and now she was curious as to what he wanted to do with them exactly.
