Ted didn't think it was strange that Simon would have called ones he thought he knew. If Ted had seen any like that, he would probably have done the same thing. Especially if he thought one of them was his sister. He probably would have called and scolded.
"I won't. Call that one I mean." Ted made sure to note it in his memory. Though, now that he read it, he wasn't sure he would have called that one anyway. Slightly insane? He was already intimidated by the calls he was getting, he didn't need to add slightly insane to the group.
Not that he'd say that to Simon.
"I'm curious. If she's a girl I've met here, I guess it makes sense to call her back. But what if she's just some woman saying I owe her dinner in order to trap me and make me... do... things." His mind wandered again to the call he'd let Simon hear.
"I guess just calling couldn't hurt, could it? It's not like she could track me down over the phone. I could sate my curiosity then."
Ted backtracked a little. "What do you mean might be seeing?"
