"Creative? Possibly. Definitely the most disturbing."
Ted picked up his phone and dialed the number in the paper under the ad that they thought might be Simon's. It rang through to an automated message.
"It's Ted." He told the phone and hung up. "There. If it's you, you'll get a message. If it's not, then ... well. Some guy might be calling me back for a date. Either way, you'll know for sure."
He read over some of the ads a second time, admittedly more curious about a couple of the women looking for men ones then he should have been probably. But he was a single guy. Not to mention, a single guy who had only recently gotten out of prison and had been in a city surrounded by incredibly beautiful women since then.
"One of them said I owed her a dinner. I can't think of who she might be. But the voice was a little familiar."
