Simon's reaction looked very much like how Ted's reaction had felt to him. Surprise, curiosity, and perhaps even a little dismay. Because certainly something like that would hurt. Wouldn't it? Somebody, Somebody would get hurt. And if it wasn't the girl, then it was certainly the person she was attempting to do that with. On. For?
Ted shook his head. "I have no idea who she is. And she's not the only one, either. She's by far the most creative and possibly disturbing one, but there have been others."
He looked at the phone a moment as if it might bite him before dragging it over to his side of the table. He was glad he'd gotten to share that. With somebody. Especially since that somebody had the same reaction as he had. Ted imagined Charlie's would be a lot different. He might ask for the number.
"I got a message from my housemate saying that my picture looked good. I'm assuming that this is some sort of personal ad. But why would anybody put a personal ad in for me? And why on earth would a woman reply with that?"
