Simon was a little hestitant to take the phone. It was more how excited Ted was than what he might hear. It could have been some big joke; that Ted was making it all up and when Simon put the phone to his ear, something bad would happen. Simon didn't think that Ted would be...TED! The guy's name was Ted. He was a nice guy, what little bit Simon could remember.
He blinked as he finally caught what was being said. He had to sit down to keep from dropping his coffee, Ted's phone, and just everything. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Yes, he was actually thinking about whether or not whatever he was listening to was physically possible. His head tilted, and his fingers moved as if he were writing something down. Those same fingers lifted to his mouth as he couldn't believe what came next. When the message was done, he set the phone down and looked at Ted.
Simon wanted to say something, but he was still working it all out. It was...strange. It was very very strange. Yet, intriguing. He took a sip of the coffee, not because he was thirsty but because he needed to do something.
"Well, she certainly made use of the time she had for that message." For the moment that was all Simon could get out. He was still processing. What woman said those sorts of things to a stranger...? "Did you know her?"
