"No weak willed women. Or strong willed women, for that matter. I sort of swore off women for the summer," Logan said with a half-smile.
It had been a long summer, that was for sure.
"I'm still the same driven and annoying girl. I still want the same things. You're one of them."
"Okay," Logan nodded. "Hard to argue with that." He leaned in and brushed his lips against hers in a kiss that was more tentative than before.
There were no promises, but then again he hadn't expected that out of Veronica. Honestly, Logan had a hard time believing it when people made promises anyway. He'd certainly suffered from enough broken ones in his life time.
