Of course Logan had thought about the implications of inviting Veronica up, no roommate. A part of him had hoped that they could just pick up where things left off before that last break-up, if they could just get the time alone. But mostly, he hadn't allowed himself to hope too much and he really did hate walking around in that shirt.
"Trust me, when you see the dorm-you'll know my intentions are pure. It's not exactly a panty-dropping area," he said with a grin that was only a little bit forced.
Truth be told, it was humiliating to be in this position. To be forced to work in a school cafeteria of all places. As a glorified janitor. To have to share a room that was only slightly bigger than his closet back home. All the same, he kept the grin in place and led Veronica to his dorm room. As the door swung open, he gestured around the room.
"See? I've stayed in jail cells nicer than this."
Logan entered the room and waited for Veronica to do the same.
