Veronica smiled into Logan's neck, still in the hug. Actually, if you were squinting and jumping around, Logan did kind of look like Justin Timberlake. It was the hair.
She wasn't so sure they should be... so touchy with each other, considering the last time she'd seen him he'd beaten up her then-boyfriend (which, oddly, she'd found kind of a turn-on), but considering the circumstances, Veronica just let it go. She loved him; she knew she did. And they were both thrown into this. He could touch her face if he wanted.
"I," Veronica began, standing straighter and looking very serious, "got carted off to the looney bin. Did you read the Batman comics as a kid? Arkham Asylum." She sighed. "If you're asking how I got here...I've got less than nothing. I remember packing to come home, at Quantico, and then I woke up in Arkham."
She waited a second. "You get one joke about how I was Girl, Interrupted. Just one. Make it count."
