"Because the frying has to stop somewhere." The hunter smirked; he could almost imagine Sam's face if he'd heard that coming out of his big brother's mouth. What else was Dean supposed to say. Her next question though almost made him choke on the bite he had taken.
Fortunately, Dean managed to chew the bite, watching her. His brow raised at the question; he would have laughed it she didn't seem to be asking in earnest. Or seemed to be in earnest. He finished the bite he was working on and turned to give her a better look. Usually he was the one asking that question, or something like it.
"Sorry, sister. Can't say that I do." Dean gave her another look. "Yeah, saying you're not crazy doesn't really speak loads to your sanity. Means you've probably gotten the crazy question before."
