Wait. Had the eyes above the glasses been yellow? Raven was just convincing herself that she hadn't seen what she thought she'd seen when Crowley gave his reluctant greeting.
The girl blanched. What was she supposed to say in return? Was this some sort of demon code? What would happen if she answered wrong - would he harm her? Or, had he simply figured out what she was and decided to test her?
"Uh." Raven began. "I was raised by humans. I'm really sorry, but I don't know to respond, and I'm not--" A big fan of Satan? Just a kid? Raven swallowed. "I'm not a very good demon." Which wasn't necessarily a bad thing, as far as she was concerned, but she wasn't going to say that to Crowley. "I'm probably not what you're expecting. Unless you were expecting me to babble, in which case maybe I am what you were expecting."
