Fred processed what he said rather quickly. She didn't like making assumptions, but the way he talked reminded her a little of Angel, just a little. A little of the few demons she'd met, well, actually of many demons she'd met, especially the head removal part. She didn't mean to smile, but the bumps in the night she was used to. He'd even gotten a little laugh at his joke; she got it.
"Not to be rude, but are you vampire? If you are, you wouldn't be one that I should probably think of an escape strategy would you? Then again, if you are, why would you tell me you were? Unless you were very confident. You're a big vampire, I'm a little bitty human - well, relatively little bitty. You could probably break my bones and all that." Fred looked at him a little more closely.
"I suppose I could try answering your questions, but I'd prefer you'd sit with me. At the end, please." Fred pointed to the other end of the bench as she scooted to the closer to the one she was on. "And I'd really like it if you didn't try eating me. I don't want to be a vampire, if you're that kind of vampire. If you're not, I'd rather not be dead. I'm not really into death. I don't want to be fed on at all cause you know, who knows were you've been. Not that you look like you're some skeezy just take a bite out of any old thing, but you can't be too careful these days." Yes, she'd just said that.
