Fred just stared. Truth was he'd more or less just said what she had meant. Most people would have taken it simply as a sarcastic remark, but it hadn't been. Then again, she was also staring because he'd confirmed exactly what she was wondering. A slight blush took her cheeks, and she had to giggle.
"Seriously? You're the Doctor? The Doctor? From Gallifrey an' everythin'? You're awfully young, arentcha? I mean, you could be, but you aren't, cause you're like old. Way old. Who you got in there? I had to stop watchin' cause Mom thought it was about drugs. I told her it was more about the journey of one bein' - not just through time but through life. I mean, seriously, how much can you get out of life if you just got one? Well, you can get a lot, but you get to get lots more. Then again, it's gotta be lonely. Always runnin' round pickin' up new people an' old people an' who knows what else." Her body leaned ever so slightly as she tried to peek inside. It didn't look at all like the one she'd seen. The last one, her favorite one had been all white and very...futuristic. What she was getting a look at was more of...well, organic.
Her mind finally caught up to the reality of the situation, and slowly she pulled focus back to the man in front of her.
"I'm not crazy, at least, not like I was. But, you prolly think I've lost it. I haven't, not much, just you're the Doctor! Oh, I bet Wes'll love to meet you. Though he might not. He's a lil funny sometimes about things. But you're the Doctor!" Fred's winning smile wasn't exactly disarming, even if it had one over at least one beast's heart, maybe more than that. Not that this Fred would have known.
