Simon wasn't planning on seeing anyone as he wandered the streets. He wanted to find them where he looked for them, not just walking around a corner. His brow lifted slightly, and he couldn't help the smile. There was something bubbly about Kaylee that did make a person smile. He hoped she hadn't been in that place, and that she wasn't upset with him for avoiding her as of late. It was hard, knowing what he knew and not being able to be what she wanted.
"Hello." His smile was awkward. It always was around her, and other certain females. Or just females in general who weren't on the hospital table. He closed the distance between them, then came to an abrupt stop. He wasn't sure if this was the best time to hug. He thought hugging would be good right now; he could use it. But, he didn't want to give her the wrong impression.
"Hi. Kaylee." Yeah, he really had grown in the City, hadn't he? "How are you? I was looking for you." Before she thought something. "I was looking for people. I...it.." He didn't want to tell her that he'd been in the insane asylum, but he wanted to explain somewhat why he hadn't seen her. "I've been busy and missed people. How are you? Oh, I've asked that, haven't I? Hi."
