She'd already managed to slide her pants on without showing any undue part of herself. Her bra had also snaked inside of her hospital shirt. Now she was performing the magic trick all girls knew of replacing one shirt with the other without anybody getting a peek at anything.
"No. Not the same. He's younger, as I said. I've seen him myself. He and another doctor were the ones to start the zombie virus. We were going to charge them with ... well. Whatever we could. But we were ... stymied. I guess that's the right word. It seemed, on top of that, since they also provided the cure, nobody was really angry about it."
Jennifer didn't want to get into the whole frustration she had about the way the City worked and what it meant for the law. She felt just as frustrated here really as she had back home. Just in entirely different ways.
"I'm sure if you want to meet him, you can find him. He works at the City Hospital. And it's not like this is a huge place anyway. The City itself might put you in his path for the fun of it." She slid her shoes on and looked at the other items she'd been given. Her badge was here, but not her gun. She didn't know if she should be happy or concerned.
