"You might be surprised what you find in your wallet." Jennifer got up out of the chair and peeked into the hallway. Nobody was out there, but the paper said that she could go to the front desk and show it and she'd be released. Hopefully there she'd be given her things back. Unless she'd been brought here without anything. That would make getting home rather interesting. She didn't exactly have on the correct supporting garments a girl should wear when going out in public. Nor did she have shoes. Just the slippers.
"We had a zombie outbreak. It was chaos. One of the most horrifying things I've been through in my life, it's safe to say. I got bit by a really really big zombie. Right on my ass. Then I became one. I have no memory really of the time. Vague pictures. I can only hope I didn't eat somebody. I don't know if I could live with that."
Jennifer looked back at John. "I think the front desk is down this hall. To the left are the doors I came through from the Asylum proper, I'm guessing right is the way out. If you find anything strange in your stuff, if they give us our stuff, if we had stuff.... it's probably yours. The City will provide you most of what you might need or want. There may be keys. Other things. Can't really be sure until we get there."
