It suddenly occurred to John that he was no longer thinking of this 'City' as an impossibility. Nor was he considering Jennifer a mad person, in spite of her descriptions of the future.
Huh. Perhaps he'd really gone mad, after all. She seemed so lucid, though, and while Watson admired the intellect in people who possessed a great deal of it, he was more in touch with the gut. Instinct said that she wasn't lying.
