Jennifer turned and looked over the guy. He was not bad looking, which was a strange thing to be thinking considering how angry she was about the amount of time she'd been stuck in this room. Maybe it was just because the meds were wearing off and she was finally starting to think like herself again and her brain needed to focus on something that would keep her from doing something really obnoxious.
"Yeah." She finally said. "I've been here for a really long time though. They said it would just be a couple of things to sign and then I'd be off. But it's taken so long and it's been more than just a couple of things."
Jennifer stood up from the chair, feeling a little bad now for giving the guy such a negative outlook on the exit process if she'd managed to do so. She didn't want him thinking he was absolutely going to get the same treatment she had. For all she knew, he'd walk out of here in a few minutes.
"Sorry. I'm Jennifer." She held her hand out for him to shake should he want to. "I've been sitting here wondering why they wouldn't just keep me on the meds so at least I could be stupid and happy." The smile she offered was definitely sarcastic, if a smile could be so.
