Spock quirked a brow. It was a very idiosyncratic response from Spock. It looked all too normal on his face. Perhaps because he had a habit of quirking a brow every time Doctor McCoy made a comment or Captain Kirk came up with an illogical plan of escape or when Scotty insisted that the warp core could not be fixed. And now he was giving that inquisitively raised brow to Jareth and his ego.
"It was not my intention to seem higher in authority to anyone. I was merely stating an introduction. I apologize if my penchant for perfunctory human tradition has offended you. I have yet to determine the appropriate responses to the many species in this city."
His words were spoken with little inflection. Rather on the robotic side, or so he had been told. Many humans were annoyed by his analytical ways. But Spock could no more change the fact that he was half Vulcan than he could change the fact that his home planet had two suns.
"Might I inquire as to what land you are king of?"
