Atsuko was quick to note the change in features on the owner's face and could guess the reason behind it. Nevertheless, he gave her a vague map of some place that may be of more use to her and she decided to take it (what else could she do?) and thanked the man. The new presence didn't slip her noticing without a moment of wonder, however. She stepped aside to give the new woman space to walk, her low heels tapping lowly on the cemented floor and she saw that she was beautiful and prestigious.
But more than her was her pet in tow -- a golden monkey, looking old as she was fresh. Not many people carried around monkeys and moreover, not many of those monkeys were gold. Atsuko's brows furrowed a little as she watched the simian's movements.
Where do people get these animals...?
The woman asked her if she needed help.
Atsuko's eyes flew to meet the newcomer's blue gaze and she let out an ample smile as she shook her head and traced her lost lock of hair off her face with a finger. Her hair was pulled up to its usual bun and she had on her lab coat, now realizing how stupid she must look and how she should have slipped it off when she had time before a conversation. "I was just asking him where the nearest phone shop was," she said, anyway, although she didn't say that he'd already given her directions, maybe she had a better idea.
The doctor fought against glancing down at the monkey again, as well.
