Jennifer nodded. She discovered that she was glad that this woman was a doctor. She needed to talk to somebody who knew what they were doing. Somebody who might actually be able to help her out. Fix her. Make her stop reacting to the alarms so heavily. It scared her, the way her body wanted to move.
Did an alarm sound near this office that she had vague memories of? "No.. not like... not like this. It's ... I don't know. It's kind of weird. But I don't recall any kind of alarm at all in that office. It's like I know that alarms mean danger. But I can't remember why."
Then she tried to come up with a time frame. Anything that might tell her how long ago she'd arrived here. Jennifer realized that she had absolutely no idea.
"I don't even know what day it is... or what month. I have no idea when... how long..."
