Bella managed to crack a smile. "It feels that way," She agreed - but beneath the humor, she couldn't help but feel a little worried. What if...the longer they stayed here, the less they would remember? Not only of the City, but their life before that? Her brow became creased with worry, as she gave her pasta a final stir, before pushing it away.
Maybe she was reading too much into things. Or maybe she wasn't...
"Oh no, its fine" She assured him. "Its hard to believe, but i've actually seen worse." Reene had always been an 'experimental' cook, especially in her Martha Stewart phase. Many a time Bella had come home to some kind of crazy inedible concoction for dinner, and was very much relieved when she'd been able to take over cooking duties.
"Different?" The blush returned, as she started to feel a little self-concious. "Uh, as far as i know, I'm normal. Well, as normal as anyone can be, I guess."
