"Can't say that I know a Buffy. Why shouldn't you be bothered? People being attacked without provocation, or just to silence, should bother you." Zoe sat up a little bit; she wasn't a big fan of that sort of treatment. She'd never been, and she probably never would be. There wasn't any reason for anyone to treat another person like that, and there was even less reason to take it. Sure, she had to take it here, but then she had plans for this place.
"No. Wish I did. Might make things easier." Knowing how she got in would have given her some idea of how to get out. It'd give her another exit, even if it was a bad idea of one.
"You?" Her attention drifted to the guy in the ball. One of the other patients had decided it was time to poke at him. "Hey! Leave off that." There was something in her voice that suggested the patient might want to listen to her. The way both feet were on the ground and she looked ready to move reinforced that suggestion.
