Strange also felt a connection of power between them. But he, too, could not adequately determine what level of sorcerer (or magic wielder) Harry was. His mind was too clouded. And, without the Eye of Agamotto, he could not focus his concentration as well. Without the drugs, he might have been able to judge Harry's abilities. He might have also even been able to determine whether he was prone to the light or dark ways. But right now? Strange was glad to be conscious and walking around.
"It is an orb. Gold in color, upon first glance. I have had it since I was chosen for the position of Sorcerer Supreme. I could not even begin to explain the magnitude of the Eye's power. In the hands of the wrong person, even a person unfamiliar to magic, it could be..."
Devastating? Dangerous?
By the Eternal Vishanti, how could he have let it be taken from him?!
"I have to find it. I can't believe I have just been wandering these halls without it."
Strange stumbled out of Harry's doorway and back into the hall. What had they done to him? How could have forgotten so easily his duty to the world? The oath he had taken?
He shook his head. He had to get these medications out of his system. He had to retrieve the Eye. He had to get out.
