Jennifer flinched when he moved away and then again when he looked at her with that face. He looked so ... so... devastated. She felt badly for him. She wanted to hug him. But he'd moved so quickly away from her when all she'd wanted to do was touch his ear. Hugging seemed like a bad idea.
"Pon Farr? That sounds dirty." She giggled a little, the medication treating her to a part of herself that she hadn't previously known existed. If she'd been more aware of herself, she would have thought this whole thing was rediculous. She didn't act like this normally and it would have horrified her. But she wasn't. So she didn't care.
"I'm Jenny. Fer." Even in this state the sound of the name Jenny didn't sit right. At all. "Jennifer." Jenny. That was a really stupid name.
She wasn't sure what a Vulcan was, but she was certain it wasn't his name. Unless it was, then she was going to feel silly. Actually, maybe she did know. Something tugged at her mind. But she paid it no attention at all.
