"Mmmhmm." Jack said. He leaned one way and then the other, taking in the bleach blond and the rest of the guy's attire. Definitely a baddy. Just listen to that talk. The bit about the mean. He had potential. Work needed to be done yet, but there was definite potential.
"Mean. That's a good start. It is. But see, if you just go telling people that you're going to get mean, then they're going to laugh at you. And while laughter is a good thing, being laughed at is not. No. You're going to have to learn to be threatening in a silent way. Subtlety."
Jack laughed. "Okay. So I could very well be joking with you. I'm not known to be particularly subtle a lot of the time. But it's just no fun to tell people what you're going to do before you do it. It's all about surprises."
He didn't have any on him currently. He hadn't really thought of that before leaving the asylum. But that was okay.
"Insults are good, but they really have to be fitting. Nancy boy isn't really so fitting, is it? I'm not a nancy, nor am I particularly a boy. But you could do something with the suspenders, I suppose. It's really an art form, you see."
Jack studied the man some more. Definite potential.
"What sort of name have you got? Hm? What do they call you?" Jack hoped it was something good.
