Fred smiled up at him. He was a tall guy, wasn't he? The way he peeked out at her...had she interupted something? She leaned a little, then remembered her manners and stood up straight. He had every right to hide things; well, maybe he didn't, but she couldn't go prying, could she? Well, maybe just a little.
"Sam! Did I catch you at a bad time? I brought coffee." She lifted the carrier. Coffee was the cure all, or seemed to be with this bunch. Coffee and food. Not that Sam ate a bunch; he ate just enough. He was a good eater, but still, coffee did seem to be the place where many minds met in the City. Well, over coffee not in coffee because that could be a little painful, couldn't it?
"I thought I'd come and check up on you and Dean. And, have you seen the news? It's a little crazy. Leprechauns. Can you believe it? It's got to be way better than Cupids. Cupids were a little odd, weren't they? So, are you gonna invite me in, or am I just going to keep babbling on outside your door?" Her nose wrinkled a little, but she was trying to smile through the awkward.
