Was there some strange magic keeping him here or was his own malfunctioning. It certainly couldn't be the latter, Jareth was quite certain that he felt fine and like his usual self. No, it was simply a better and more logical explanation that something else was at play here. Something apparently more powerful than himself.
That did not sit well with the Goblin King at all. Not. At. All.
Then some woman was walking by, staring at him and Jareth felt something he wasn't sure how to describe. It was something like fear, but that coudln't be. He feared nothing. He looked down at himself again, then back up at the woman. She was now speaking. Most likely at him.
Had to be at him. No one else was around. Other than the two of them. That was... uncomfortable.
Jareth supposed he was looking for something, but it wasn't anything he was going to tell this woman. This... stranger. He wasn't going to tell her that he was looking for home. Home? Was he really going to call it that? That was... not normal.
"Just wondering where I am, exactly." He said, finally. He started toward her, away from the streetlight, black boots making a delightful sound as they clicked on the pavement. Something that at least gave him the comfort of familiarity.
