For good measure, Crowley used his demonic power to cause the gates to slam again. He really had enjoyed the sound. Who needed a herald when you had powers? Certainly not Crowley and Elle. They were their own heralds.
He took off his sunglasses and tucked the end of them in his front shirt pocket. It was more menacing if his serpent like eyes were bare for the seeing by their victim. And Crowley liked menacing.
