She took the note pad. Quite frankly, the way her memory was going, if she forget where she was in the next two seconds, at least she would have something to go on. Besides, having something in her hands made her feel safer. Like she had to do something other than just think and function. It was strange, but it was something that Jo couldn't ignore.
She felt prickles on the edges of her consciousness as she wrote down names. She didn't say anything. She didn't feel that she needed to. It would all come together, somehow.

The pen stilled, stopping completely as she looked at all the ones she had. Some of them caused whispers. Indiana, said one. Minnesota, said another. Nebraska. Michigan. All of that made her stop. These places sounded important.
"Do you think the City's got a map of places outside?" she asked, her brow furrowing. "It might not, and that's fine. It's just.......I feel like I've been here before. Like I've been to plenty of places before. With people. And different names."
