"Well, I guess if it's okay......." She didn't need to finish that sentence. She didn't feel the need to, and she had no idea what she would have said if she had finished it at all.
She followed his hand with her eyes, and getting up off her bench, followed him. She had no idea where they were going, trusting Hannibal to help her along. She liked him for some reason, not really poking her with strange questions and objects to try and get her to remember. Or a truck that looked like it had been totaled and then brought in for scrap metal. That poked the edge of her mind though, and she made a note to try and remember why that was so important.
Entering the flat, Jo was a bit in awe. Everything was so clean, and at the same time, felt so foreign. She couldn't put her finger on why it would feel that way, but experiencing it all the same was something she was slightly proud of at the moment, as well as the fact that she was learning something new.
Nodding, she turned her sights onto the couch, sitting down as instructed while looking around some more. It was like stepping into a different world, something she wasn't used to but was slowly trying to adapt to. For a guy, he had very good taste, her mind decided. She caught movement out of the corner of her eye and followed him over to his seat, eying the glasses of water.
She nodded again, showing that she understood. And then she paused, a thought coming in as she pondered over the implications of what he was saying. She really didn't want to go the chemical route. Something inside of her didn't really like that idea, although at the same time, no one really wanted to go that way. At least, not willingly and on the first try.
"So should I just try to remember things randomly?" she asked him. "Talk about things that come to mind and try to work them out?" She had never tried anything like this before, and she was a bit apprehensive about it. Still, she was going to try, and that was all she could hope for.
