Jo's face cleared up, becoming a blank slate of sorts. She considered what he had said, this stranger. The trouble was, Jo had absolutely no idea where to start. Was home an option? She wasn't even sure where home was at this point. She didn't know anyone else, so their place wasn't an option either. A place to get a new identity, or to find your old one? That might have been the greatest thing ever to grace the planet, that was for sure.
"Guess I wish I knew where exactly I wanted to go," she confessed with a shrug. "I suspect it'll come to me, one day if I ever remember. They really aren' that good at tellin' you anythin', those people back at that Hospital. Gave me a name and all, but I don' think it's mine. Doesn' sound right at all." She frowned. "Don' even know my real name, come to think of it. Suppose it'll all come back to me, if it ever does." The void in Jo's head was becoming really hard to fill. What was real for her? What wasn't? Some things made sense, others didn't.
"So where's a fella like you goin' then?" Jo asked. "Maybe if you gimme an example of what I should be lookin' for, maybe I can find somewhere too."
