Lunchtime! (open)
Harley had been happily strolling down the street, window shopping… okay, casing a few places for later. Because really, why buy when you could steal? And there was a hot little number she wanted to pick up to model for her Puddin’ later. Red, short, flirty. Just like her.
So there she’d been, strolling along, minding her own business when it hit her. BAM! She was starving. How had she forgotten lunch? She could get a little distracted now and then, but usually her stomach let her know when it was hungry. So how awesome was it that at the same moment that she realized her stomach was trying to turn itself inside out in protest of being empty that she saw a great looking diner on the corner?
It was serendipity.
Harley didn’t have any money in her pockets, but that had never stopped her before, and besides she was hungry. All of a sudden she had a monster craving for a hamburger, fries and a piece of apple pie. Mmm. Pie. Pie was always good. Maybe she could get a piece of banana cream to take home to Mr. J. And a coupla steaks for her babies. Why not? Wasn’t like she was paying for it.
With a giggle, Harley skipped across the street in the middle of the block, and entered the diner. Yep. It was lunchtime.
