Her smile was warm, as was the light hand which laid to his wrist in greeting. She laughed, not at him, not with insult but with mirth and a shake of her head. Short cut hair fringing a bit with the motion.
"Sir Guy, you are too generous with your complements." She demurred, as a lady should, and looked down to the basket on her arm, apples, a melon, tomatoes, potatoes..it was a veritable feast waiting to be prepared. "Thank you though, this City is not home but it has been agreeable. It is good to see you as well."
Though she neglected to mention Robin, where they were from even speaking to him was an offense against the Sheriff. Sir Guy was a good man under the thumb of an evil one, she knew this to be the case, she only hoped he could see it as well and break free of Vasey.
"Again you are too generous, I could not allow you to pay for me. The company however I will accept." She smiled and plucked a sweet smelling fruit with a soft skin, it smelled of ..well it was something she'd never had but it smelled wonderful. "I am amazed with the wonders of this place, have you found suitable lodgings? I've heard some were not fortunate enough to do so and wound up sleeping where ever they could find."
