Sorry I took so long
Men could be alone with a woman in her home now? No parents and no chaperones required. It seemed like this strange new era did have a few things to offer a man like Sir Guy of Gisborne. He might like it here better than he thought he would. But then again, just because a man could be alone with a woman, it did not mean they were more likely to lay with him than they had been back in Nottingham. It could end up being just as frustrating here as it was back there.
“I think I may be here for some time,” he said to Cameron. “I am not certain how I even came to be here, so I really have no idea how I could leave if I wanted to.”
At the moment though, Guy didn’t really want to leave The City. Aside from that one run-in with Robin Hood, everything seemed to be going very well for Guy. He had a home, a friend that was a genie that was willing to cook and clean for him. Not to mention the potential to meet interesting people like the good doctor he was with now. Best thing in his opinion though, was the complete absence of the Sheriff and Prince John. Guy didn’t have to answer to anyone here nor did he have to do anyone’s dirty work for them.
As Guy leaned back to sit comfortably with Cameron and watch this “movie” he decided that life here was very good indeed. “Will you be staying here, Allison?”
