"You feel very real to me as well, Sir Guy." She wanted just to call him Guy, but understood the importance of titles. She'd feel weird if everyone called her Allison rather than Dr Cameron.
"Sorry." She tried to be much more gentler. She didn't want to hurt her newest patient. She was edging the splinter out. Slowly but surely.
"I could show you, I do have some movies around here. But lets get this out of your hand before we have excitement. Wouldn't want you to hurt yourself more." She was afraid he might just attack her TV, not that she loved the device, but it would be a big mess to clean up.
Finally she grabbed her tweezers and got the splinter out. "There. All better. I could bandage it if it's bothersome to you to have that little hole in your hand. But it's not as bad as I thought it'd be."
